My Story

Hi, I’m  Silvia Woolf, a results focused, registered and accredited nutritional therapist and naturopath.

I specialise in helping people prevent, manage and reverse health conditions. I am extremely passionate about healthy living and have developed my skills and interests in nutrition over many years and experiences which have guided my own personal approach to a healthy diet.

Having finished a modelling career centred in Milan that took me around the world for over a decade. I finally settled down with my husband in London and in 2008 fell pregnant with my first child, Isabel.

Having been focused on producing a toned and fit physique as a model, my interest shifted into what I should be eating as a young woman who was expecting a baby.

After giving birth, my focus then shifted to children’s nutrition. I was very keen to give my daughter the best start in life so she could learn and maintain healthy eating habits as she develops into an adult with a strong immune system and to avoid the problems that are becoming so prevalent with children today, namely obesity, allergy and also treating children who are suffering from issues either hereditary or derived from poor eating habits.

My interests soon expanded after the birth of my second child, Jacob, into how one could treat health issues with a nutritional program after I was diagnosed with Hashimoto’s hypothyroidism, a condition where one’s thyroid is attacked by one’s own immune system.

I was initially prescribed l-thyroxine by my doctors, but sadly, my presenting symptoms: weight gain, fatigue and anxiety remained and I began to research how alternative medicine and nutrition could be complementary to traditional medical treatment. I got further inspiration when I began to see the results!

As my two children grew up and started going to school, I finally had the time to pursue my passion and enrolled in a three year course at the College of Naturopathic medicine in London, where I could best develop my knowledge and skills.

The course consisted of over 250 hours of clinical training and 125 hours of clients' cases. Studying nutrition has opened the door to treatments for a whole range of health conditions, from my own hypothyroidism to gut health, chronic fatigue, hormone induced anxiety and imbalances, female health, blood sugar management and weight loss.

I am committed to lifelong learning and continue to deepen and broaden my knowledge of latest evidence based nutritional protocols and undertake regular training to further my skills with the latest scientific research in the field of nutrition.

I feel privileged to work in this field, and  being able to share this knowledge with you. I look forward to working together with you on your own personal health goals.

 DOES THIS SOUND FAMILIAR?

Many people feel the same way about their lives, and I used to feel that way too. It was overwhelming!

But then I found health coaching. Now, I blend coaching with nutrition to help people lose weight, manage stress, improve their sleep, and balance their hormones—all of which are interconnected.
